Blenheim Cottage is a beautifully refurbished 16th century Cotswold holiday cottage which sleeps four guests, in two well-appointed bedrooms, with a spacious family bathroom. On the ground floor you have a stylish open-plan kitchen/dining room which leads out into the split level garden, boasting plenty of outdoor seating and a charcoal barbecue, a relaxing spot to enjoy all year round. At the heart of the home there is a warm and inviting sitting room with a traditional stone fireplace and a cosy wood burning stove, creating the perfect hygge environment for those wintery evenings indoors! Blenheim Cottage is a dog friendly holiday home, suitable for one medium sized dogs!

StayCotswold is a marketing agent and therefore does not own any of the cottages listed on our website. In terms of cleaning and maintenance, the properties within our portfolio are managed by a third party property manager or the property owner – your pre-arrival email will contain confirmation and contact details for the person managing your property. Bookings made via us form a legal agreement directly between you and the property owner.

For bookings commencing more than 8 weeks in advance, a 30% non-refundable deposit is required to confirm the booking. The balance payment is then due 8 weeks prior to arrival.

All payments are made subject to the cancellation policy set out in the standard Booking Conditions.

Location Information

Blenheim Cottage is located in the picturesque market town of Woodstock, a vibrant town benefitting from a variety of popular country pubs, restaurants, boutique shops and galleries. Surrounded by unspoilt countryside, there are many footpaths on its doorstep, and guests are able to stroll through the peaceful lanes and enjoy the stunning period buildings and architecture of the 18th century town hall and the impressive Church of St Mary Magdalene, the early English windows and musical clock.
For your shopping essentials, there is a Co-op in Woodstock and a Tesco Superstore in Kidlington.
Woodstock is perfectly placed for visiting popular attractions including historic Blenheim Palace, with free access to the public grounds just a three minute walk from the property, the Cotswold Wildlife Park and Asthall Manor. The much-loved towns and villages of Stow-on-the-Wold, Burford, Cirencester and Bourton-on-the-Water are also easily accessible.

The Finer Details

  • The maximum occupancy for this property is four guests. Infants do not count towards the occupancy figure, however, due to space restrictions the occupancy can only be exceeded by two additional infants (aged 2 and under)
  • Bed linen and towels are provided (duvets and pillows are hypoallergenic)
  • There is restricted permit parking outside the property between 8am to 6pm. Nearby there is free on-street parking, a 12-hour free car park and on-street pay & display options
  • 1 travel cot, 1 highchair and 1 stair gate are available on request (please bring your own linen for the travel cot, as this is not provided)
  • 1 medium sized dog is welcome for an additional £40 per booking per dog. For pet rules, please visit our FAQs

  • There are some narrow and steep stairs, low beams and multiple floors
  • There is a tiered garden with stone steps from the back door to the top of the garden, and a large drop between the first tier and ground level, children should therefore be supervised outside at all times
  • The smoke and CO detectors operate on a sound only basis and, therefore, those who have serious impairment of hearing may not be able to hear the alarm systems and could be at risk
  • No smoking or vaping is permitted throughout the property

  • Hen and Stag parties are not permitted, though other same sex groups can enquire
  • Events are not permitted without prior consent
  • A security deposit is required at this property
  • Check in is from 17:00 and check out is by 10:00
  • Charging electric vehicles at this property is not permitted
Security Deposit

A security deposit of £100 is required for bookings at this property. This amount will be pre-authorised on your credit card 7 days prior to your arrival date and, providing no damage is reported, the pre-authorisation will be released 7 days after your departure. For the avoidance of doubt, guests are requested to leave the property in a reasonable condition, consistent with the property's appearance upon arrival.
