StayCotswold is a marketing agent and therefore does not own any of the cottages listed on our website. In terms of cleaning and maintenance, the properties within our portfolio are managed by a third party property manager or the property owner – your pre-arrival email will contain confirmation and contact details for the person managing your property. Bookings made via us form a legal agreement directly between you and the property owner.

For bookings commencing more than 8 weeks in advance, a 30% non-refundable deposit is required to confirm the booking. The balance payment is then due 8 weeks prior to arrival.

All payments are made subject to the cancellation policy set out in the standard Booking Conditions.

Location Information

Callow Cottage is located in the bustling village of Bourton-on-the-Water, with picturesque chocolate box cottages and a beautiful river flowing through its centre, with quaint bridges crossing over. There are delightful restaurants and cafes such as Smiths of Bourton, The Rose Tree Restaurant and The Den; there is something for everyone! With multiple attractions on its doorstep, there is plenty to do, from visiting the delights of Birdland to trying a tipple from Hawkstone Brewery or, a little further afield, take in the views from Broadway Tower.

For your shopping essentials, there is a Co-op in Bourton-on-the-Water and a Tesco Superstore in Stow-on-the-Wold.
Bourton-on-the-Water sits in the North Cotswolds and is perfectly located for visiting the local towns of Stow-on-the-Wold, Burford and Broadway, whilst still being in reach of the regency town of Cheltenham with its racecourse and the city of Oxford with its historical colleges.

Security Deposit/Accidental Damage Waiver

Bookings at this property require either a £250 Security Deposit or payment of a non-refundable Accidental Damage Waiver. Where you choose a Security Deposit and we have your payment card details on file (for your security, these details are tokenised), we have the right to charge an amount up to the value of the Security Deposit to your payment card up to seven days after your departure date. In some circumstances, we may require a pre-authorisation of the Security Deposit amount against your payment card seven days prior to your arrival date, which will be released seven days after your departure date, providing no damage is reported or excessive cleaning is required. You may choose to waive the requirement for a Security Deposit by paying for an Accidental Damage Waiver at checkout. This is a non-refundable payment that covers the cost of any accidental damage or breakages to the property or its contents, up to the value of the Security Deposit. For the avoidance of doubt, guests are requested to leave the property in a reasonable condition, consistent with the property's appearance upon arrival.

Fabulous cottage.. great location, spacious with everything you need for a vacation. It was our second time at the cottage and have already booked to return. Twin bed mattress (nearest to door) could be updated, but by no means uncomfortable

Wonderful stay at Callow Cottage, very clean and tidy and lovely inside. However, the main bedroom at the top, the bed was very uncomfortable and I think broken as very creaky just by sitting on it and it effected sleep. The sofa was also abit uncomfortable as it's quite low and kept separating. But I would definitely come back and stay here as my family and I had a lovely stay and the location to everywhere was perfect!!
