Clare's Cottage is an inviting Cotswold holiday home nestled in the delightful village of Ebrington, which sleeps four guests, in two well-appointed bedrooms, with a family bathroom. This charming abode has a calming colour scheme, with pops of colour and thoughtful hand-picked pieces to create a warm and welcoming home from home. The open fire incorporated with plush furnishings makes for a cosy living area that leads into a well-equipped, light and airy kitchen/diner. The country garden is laid to lawn with an outdoor dining area making it the perfect place to while away a summer evening after a long day exploring the Cotswolds.

StayCotswold is a marketing agent and therefore does not own any of the cottages listed on our website. In terms of cleaning and maintenance, the properties within our portfolio are managed by a third party property manager or the property owner – your pre-arrival email will contain confirmation and contact details for the person managing your property. Bookings made via us form a legal agreement directly between you and the property owner.

For bookings commencing more than 8 weeks in advance, a 30% non-refundable deposit is required to confirm the booking. The balance payment is then due 8 weeks prior to arrival.

All payments are made subject to the cancellation policy set out in the standard Booking Conditions.

Clare's Cottage is located in the picturesque village of Ebrington, with a fabulous pub serving incredible food, endless walks with outstanding views and local attractions such as Hidcote Gardens and Kiftsgate Court just a five minute drive away. For your shopping essentials, there is a Co-op, deli and butchers in Chipping Campden, and larger supermarkets in Moreton-in-Marsh and Stow-on-the-Wold.
Ebrington sits in the North Cotswolds and is perfectly situated for visiting the quintessential Cotswold destinations of Broadway, Winchcombe and Stow-on-the-Wold, while also being in easy reach of places such as Shipston-on-Stour and Stratford-upon-Avon, where you can enjoy a performance at the RSC Theatre.

Security Deposit/Accidental Damage Waiver

Bookings at this property require either a £150 Security Deposit or payment of a non-refundable Accidental Damage Waiver. Where you choose a Security Deposit and we have your payment card details on file (for your security, these details are tokenised), we have the right to charge an amount up to the value of the Security Deposit to your payment card up to seven days after your departure date. In some circumstances, we may require a pre-authorisation of the Security Deposit amount against your payment card seven days prior to your arrival date, which will be released seven days after your departure date, providing no damage is reported or excessive cleaning is required. You may choose to waive the requirement for a Security Deposit by paying for an Accidental Damage Waiver at checkout. This is a non-refundable payment that covers the cost of any accidental damage or breakages to the property or its contents, up to the value of the Security Deposit. For the avoidance of doubt, guests are requested to leave the property in a reasonable condition, consistent with the property's appearance upon arrival.

Thankyou to the hosts of this lovely wee cottage perfect for just us two taking a relaxing break in charming quiet Ebrington village which has interesting routes for walks and is within easy day-trip car journeys to the busier tourist destinations that we explored.

Clares cottage is a great cottage at the heart of the village close to amenities.The team provided everything you need, but attention to detail is a bit lacking. Time or something got away from the cleaning team and there was evidence.The fire is a lovely touch until you realise the tools are lacking. So difficult to clean out the fireplace.Nice space outside, lovely furniture in the main, and warm with the heaters.

Our little cottage was perfect. It had the heating on when we arrived which we had to turn down as the heaters worked extremely well. The doors to the cottage do have gaps around them (it's an old cottage) but we kept all internal doors shut to keep the rooms cosy. There were also blankets on the sofas and chairs which looked esthetically pleasing but could also be used if needed. The house had it's own drive/parking which we used every day just by reversing on to it, it does back out onto a frequently used road so we found this better. The gate had some broken wire on it the first day we arrived but we came home the second day and it had been repaired and had a hook placed on it to close it. The cottage was extremely well equipped for cooking, it has a washing machine but no clothes line or airer to hang clothes on, just a little thing that could be added in. There is a hairdryer but the cord is short so you do need to sit a long way from the mirror to use it or an extension lead could be added. This did not deter from the beautiful place we stayed in.
