Overview

Folly View is a luxurious barn conversion which has been creatively renovated to accommodate 12+2 guests across six well-appointed bedrooms, each with their own bathroom. The downstairs space is plentiful with an open plan kitchen and dining space which opens out onto a large patio, home to a wood fired hot tub where you can enjoy views across the farm and countryside. Beyond the comfort of the barn, Camden Farm hosts plenty of activities for all to enjoy from paddle boarding, BBQ's along the river Thames and table football.

Goose is located indoors during the winter months in Hub barn, a space which can be used for rainy day activities with use of a ping pong table and on request, the barn can be heated

  • The smoke and CO detectors operate on a sound only basis and, therefore, those who have serious impairment of hearing may not be able to hear the alarm systems and could be at risk
  • No smoking or vaping is permitted throughout the property

  • The maximum occupancy for this property is 14 guests. Infants do not count towards the occupancy figure, however, due to space restrictions the occupancy can only be exceeded by four additional infants
  • Hen and Stag groups are not permitted
  • Events are not permitted without prior consent
  • A security deposit is required at this property
  • Check in is from 16:00 and check out is by 10:00
Security Deposit

A security deposit of £500 is required for bookings at this property. This amount will be pre-authorised on your credit card 7 days prior to your arrival date, providing no damage is reported the pre-authorisation will be released 5 days after your departure. For the avoidance of doubt, guests are requested to leave the property in a reasonable condition, consistent with the property's appearance upon arrival.

StayCotswold is a marketing agent and therefore does not own any of the cottages listed on our website. In terms of cleaning and maintenance, the properties within our portfolio are managed by a third party property manager or the property owner – your pre-arrival email will contain confirmation and contact details for the person managing your property. Bookings made via us form a legal agreement directly between you and the property owner.

For bookings commencing more than 8 weeks in advance, a 30% non-refundable deposit is required to confirm the booking. The balance payment is then due 8 weeks prior to arrival.

All payments are made subject to the cancellation policy set out in the standard Booking Conditions.

Location Information

Folly View is situated in the heart of the Oxfordshire countryside, close to the village of Radcot and just two and a half miles from the historic market town of Faringdon. This vibrant town is home to a number of pubs, restaurants and coffee shops, and even has its own tower which sits atop Folly Hill and looks out across five counties. Being just a stone's throw from the River Thames, you can pick up the Thames Path and explore the river on foot, or perhaps hire a boat from nearby Lechlade-on-Thames.
For your shopping essentials, there are local retailers and supermarkets in Faringdon.
Radcot is well-placed for visiting the many picturesque towns and villages of the region such as Cirencester, Burford, Bibury and Bampton, the latter recognised by many as the village in TV's Downton Abbey, and is within easy reach for a day trip to the impressive city of Oxford.

The house is perfect, with all your needs considered within its facilities and accessories. Immaculate. We were 14 ladies for a joint birthday celebration, and it catered for us beautifully. We stayed in both nights just to enjoy the space, the hot tub and the amazing surroundings. Fabulous walks and lots of lovely villages around too. Thoroughly recommend.

We highly recommend Folly View for a family holiday. Quality accommodation in great location in walking distance of the river. Great to have the use of 2 paddle boards by the river. Nearby pub offers lovely food and views by the river.

We are a family of 10 adults, a baby and 3 small dogs and Folly View was perfect. Often it is easy to find the number of bedrooms but not a living room we can all be in comfortably together. This property had a large living room which allowed all of us to sit comfortably and kitchen- diner that made meal times a joy The property is very well appointed and the kitchen utensils etc all plentiful and in very good condition. There was even a spare fridge in the boot room, and snuggle blankets in the lounge. The location was great as we weren't far from some very excellent restaurants and pubs, as well as 5 mins from a tesco and waitrose. The outside garden was excellent and once we closed the driveway gates the dogs were able to run freely round the space without disturbing anyone else. A fabulous stay for our yearly family retreat.
