In terms of cleaning and maintenance, the properties within our portfolio are managed by a third party property manager or the property owner – your pre-arrival email will contain confirmation and contact details for the person managing your property. Bookings made via us form a legal agreement directly between you and the property owner.

For bookings commencing more than 8 weeks in advance, a 30% non-refundable deposit is required to confirm the booking. The balance payment is then due 8 weeks prior to arrival.

All payments are made subject to the cancellation policy set out in the standard Booking Conditions.

Location Information

Little Barford Mill is a dog friendly holiday cottage with a hot tub located on a working farm just outside the village of Barford St John and a neigbouring village of Great Tew which has the renowned Soho Farmhouse and a wonderful café, Quince & Clover. There are numerous walks from your doorstep, and plenty of dog friendly locations nearby such as The Rollright Stones, Daylesford and the wonderful Cotswold town of Stow-on-the-Wold that has a range of dog friendly shops and eateries.
The Cotswolds has an array of places to visit, from rainy days to glorious summer weekends there is a variety of options for all ages staying at Little Barford Mill. Your days can easily be filled with the likes of Blenheim Palace the birthplace of Winston Churchill, Broughton Grange Gardens, Gaydon Motor Museum and The Light Banbury. For an afternoon out, book a tour at the Cotswold Distillery or pop to Daylesford to visit the farm shop and do a workshop. After a day of exploring, head to one of the local pubs such as The George in Barford St Michael, The Duck on the Pond in South Newington and The Boxing Hare in Swerford.
For your shopping essentials, pop to the local town of Chipping Norton where you’ll find a Marks & Spencers, Sainsbury's and Co-op. We also recommend the neighbouring town of Deddington where there is the wonderful butchers and deli, Eagles.

  • The maximum occupancy for this property is 10 guests. Infants do not count towards the occupancy figure, however, due to space restrictions the occupancy can only be exceeded by 2 additional infants (aged 2 or under)
  • Bed linen, bathrobes and towels are provided (duvets and pillows are hypoallergenic)
  • Off street parking is available for up to 5 cars
  • 1 travel cot and 1 highchair are available on request (please bring your own linen for the travel cot, as this is not provided)

  • The smoke and CO detectors operate on a sound only basis and, therefore, those who have serious impairment of hearing may not be able to hear the alarm systems and could be at risk
  • No smoking or vaping is permitted throughout the property

Security Deposit

A security deposit of £500 is required for bookings at this property. This amount will be pre-authorised on your credit card 7 days prior to your arrival date and, providing no damage is reported, the pre-authorisation will be released 7 days after your departure. For the avoidance of doubt, guests are requested to leave the property in a reasonable condition, consistent with the property's appearance upon arrival.
