This home away from home is as inviting as it is peaceful, with earthy tones from the original oak beams and inglenook fireplace being complemented by calming country interiors. On the ground floor, a cosy, welcoming sitting room awaits with an open fire and plush seating, and a generous, well-equipped kitchen leads into the garden. This picturesque landscaped garden boasts a large lawn bordered by mature shrubs, and features striking sculptures. Macs Leap is pet friendly and welcomes three well-behaved dogs!

StayCotswold is a marketing agent and therefore does not own any of the cottages listed on our website. In terms of cleaning and maintenance, the properties within our portfolio are managed by a third party property manager or the property owner – your pre-arrival email will contain confirmation and contact details for the person managing your property. Bookings made via us form a legal agreement directly between you and the property owner.

For bookings commencing more than 8 weeks in advance, a 30% non-refundable deposit is required to confirm the booking. The balance payment is then due 8 weeks prior to arrival.

All payments are made subject to the cancellation policy set out in the standard Booking Conditions.

Macs Leap is located in the picturesque village of Evenlode, one of the great places to stay in the Cotswolds, which offers beautiful walks from its doorstep. This peaceful village sits between the bustling market towns of Stow-on-the-Wold and Moreton-in-Marsh, both home to popular pubs, cafes and boutique shops. We highly recommend The Old Butchers in Stow and Martha's Coffee House in Moreton!
For your shopping essentials, there is a Co-op in Stow-on-the-Wold and a Tesco Superstore on the outskirts of town.

The Finer Details

  • The maximum occupancy for this property is 4 guests. Infants do not count towards the occupancy figure, however, due to space restrictions the occupancy can only be exceeded by 2 additional infants (aged 2 or under)
  • Bed linen and towels are provided 
  • Off street parking is available for up to 2 cars
  • 1 travel cot and 1 highchair are available on request (please bring your own linen for the travel cot, as this is not provided)

Security Deposit

A security deposit of £150 is required for bookings at this property. This amount will be pre-authorised on your credit card 7 days prior to your arrival date and, providing no damage is reported, the pre-authorisation will be released 7 days after your departure. For the avoidance of doubt, guests are requested to leave the property in a reasonable condition, consistent with the property's appearance upon arrival.
