Overview

Sophisticated, contemporary interiors meet countryside charm at Owl Cottage, the two styles blend together seamlessly to create a wonderful calming, boutique space perfect for unwinding with loved ones. This welcoming Cotswold holiday home sleeps up to six guests, in three sumptuous bedrooms, with two bathrooms, also welcoming two dogs. Once a stable, Owl Cottage has been meticulously converted with a classic, cottage style in mind, with countryside influenced fabrics and wallpapers adorning the space, accompanied by exposed beams, an inglenook fireplace with wood burner, and luxurious touches throughout. Despite Owl Cottage's mid terrace location, the property feels secluded inside thanks to the clever layout stretching over three floors, each with high ceilings that add to the spacious atmosphere.

Owl Cottage is nestled in a row of holiday cottages, making it a great destination to share with loved ones when looking for more space. Why not invite some friends and combine your booking with the neighbouring Dovecote Cottage, Grey's Cottage, Yew Tree Cottage and Stable Cottage!

Location Information

Southrop is a quaint Cotswold village situated on the River Leach. This picturesque village benefits from many quintessential Cotswold charms including a green, beautiful Grade I listed Norman church, St Peter's, and an award-winning gastropub, The Swan. The village is also home to the renowned Thyme hotel on the converted Southrop Manor estate. This swanky venue is a must for any visitors to the area, whether enjoying a meal in the fine dining restaurant, relaxing in the spa or learning a new dish at the cookery school - there are so many aspects for everyone to enjoy.
For your shopping essentials, there is a Co-op and independent retailers in Lechlade-on-Thames (many larger supermarkets will deliver to the area too).
Guests are spoilt for choice when looking for days out, with the much loved market towns of Burford, Bourton-on-the-Water and Stow-on-the-Wold within a 40 minute drive. From the charming village of Bibury, with the famous Arlington Row, to the larger cities of Cirencester, Oxford and Cheltenham, there is so much to explore.
