The Brewery is an elegantly refurbished Cotswold stone holiday cottage which sleeps 8+2 guests, in four bedrooms, with the +2 option being a small double sofa bed in the study, and three bathrooms. As the name suggests, this fabulous cottage is a former brewery to Garne & Sons Ltd which has been stylishly renovated whilst still retaining its original character and charm. On the split-level ground floor is a large living room complete with stone fireplace with wood burning stove and study with dedicated work space. To the rear of the property is a bright open plan kitchen/dining/sitting space leading to an enclosed courtyard, offering a great entertainment space during your stay.

This four bedroom holiday home is ideally situated for those looking to stay in a charming Cotswold town with pubs, cafes and shops all within a stones throw from your front door. The family friendly accommodation is laid out as follows:

StayCotswold is a marketing agent and therefore does not own any of the cottages listed on our website. In terms of cleaning and maintenance, the properties within our portfolio are managed by a third party property manager or the property owner – your pre-arrival email will contain confirmation and contact details for the person managing your property. Bookings made via us form a legal agreement directly between you and the property owner.

For bookings commencing more than 8 weeks in advance, a 30% non-refundable deposit is required to confirm the booking. The balance payment is then due 8 weeks prior to arrival.

All payments are made subject to the cancellation policy set out in the standard Booking Conditions.

Location Information

Situated in the historic market town of Burford, The Brewery sits just off the high street so you are within easy reach of so many of our favourites spots. Get your coffee or sourdough fix from Lynwood & Co, enjoy lunch at Huffkins or head to The Angel for a superb pub meal. Burford is also home to a number of boutique shops for antiques, books and so much more.
For your shopping essentials, the high street is home to a well-stocked Co-op and a number of independent retailers from butchers to delis and even a cheese shop!
Burford is often referred to as the southern gateway to the Cotswolds so it is ideally located to explore the local area. The much-loved Cotswolds towns and villages of Stow-on-the-Wold, Cirencester, Bourton-on-the-Water and Bibury are all just a short drive away. There are also a number of attractions such as the Cotswold Wildlife Park & Gardens, Crocodiles of the World and Blenheim Palace make for great days out!

  • The maximum occupancy for this property is 10 guests. Infants do not count towards the occupancy figure, however, due to space restrictions the occupancy can only be exceeded by 2 additional infants.
  • Hen and Stag parties are not permitted
  • Commercial, work related and single sex groups on request
  • Events are not permitted without prior consent
  • A security deposit is required at this property
  • Check in is from 16:00 and check out is by 10:00
Security Deposit

A security deposit of £250 is required for bookings at this property. This amount will be pre-authorised on your credit card 7 days prior to your arrival date, providing no damage is reported the pre-authorisation will be released 5 days after your departure. For the avoidance of doubt, guests are requested to leave the property in a reasonable condition, consistent with the property's appearance upon arrival.
