The Cotswold Lady near Bourton-on-the-Water is a well-presented dog friendly holiday home which sleeps four guests, in two bedrooms, with one spacious bathroom. The stylish open plan sitting area overlooks the village green, and throughout the property there are character features including a wood burner, exposed beams and a beautiful exposed stone wall in the playroom in the eaves. Guests of The Cotswold Lady are welcome to use the enclosed garden at The Cotswold Guy located next door and below the accommodation, selling fantastic local produce and delicious coffee.

This two bedroom holiday home is the perfect choice for a romantic getaway, or for a group of friends or family who are looking for a break in the North Cotswolds. The accommodation is laid out as follows:

Ground Floor
The front door opens into an entrance hall with storage space for coats and boots. From here, stairs lead up to the first floor

First Floor

Open plan, Smeg fridge/freezer, induction hob, oven with grill, washing machine, dishwasher, toaster, kettle and two stools

Sitting/dining room
Wood burner, two-seater leather Chesterfield sofa, armchair, wicker chair, wall-mounted Smart TV with Sky (account holders only), and dining table with seating for six

Family bathroom
Bath with overhead shower and separate handheld shower attachment, loo, basin and heated towel rail

Master bedroom (Sleeps 2)
Eaves room, exposed beams, king size bed, two bedside tables, TV with Sky (account holders only), wall mirror, chest of drawers and hanging rail

Bedroom 2 (Sleeps 2)
Two single beds, wall mirror, small storage unit and hanging rail

Second Floor

Accessed via a steep staircase, eaves room with exposed beams, exposed stone, range of toys, games, and bean bags

Guests of The Cotswold Lady are welcome to use the garden of The Cotswold Guy farm shop next door, this is a shared and enclosed area with pub-style wooden bench tables and parasols

Booking & Payment

StayCotswold is a marketing agent and therefore does not own any of the cottages listed on our website. In terms of cleaning and maintenance, the properties within our portfolio are managed by a third party property manager or the property owner – your pre-arrival email will contain confirmation and contact details for the person managing your property. Bookings made via us form a legal agreement directly between you and the property owner.

For bookings commencing more than 8 weeks in advance, a 30% non-refundable deposit is required to confirm the booking. The balance payment is then due 8 weeks prior to arrival.

All payments are made subject to the cancellation policy set out in the standard Booking Conditions.

Location Information

Guiting Power is a quintessential Cotswold village clustered around a small green, with a pub at either end. Rows of attractive stone cottages line the lanes, and the village benefits from both a farm shop and café. There are many footpaths on its doorstep including the Wardens' Way which leads to the bustling market town of Winchcombe in one direction, and the much loved village of Bourton-on-the-Water, via Naunton, in the other.
For your shopping essentials, there is a Post Office in the village or Co-ops in both Winchcombe and Bourton-on-the-Water.
Guiting Power is well-placed for visiting the Cotswold honeypots of Stow-on-the-Wold, Broadway and Chipping Campden to name a few.

  • The smoke and CO detectors operate on a sound only basis and, therefore, those who have serious impairment of hearing may not be able to hear the alarm systems and could be at risk
  • No smoking or vaping is permitted throughout the property

  • The maximum occupancy for this property is 4 guests. Infants do not count towards the occupancy figure, however, due to space restrictions the occupancy can only be exceeded by 1 additional infant
  • Events are not permitted without prior consent
  • A security deposit is required at this property
  • Check in is from 16:00 and check out is by 10:00
Security Deposit

A security deposit of £150 is required for bookings at this property. This amount will be pre-authorised on your credit card 7 days prior to your arrival date and, providing no damage is reported, the pre-authorisation will be released 7 days after your departure. For the avoidance of doubt, guests are requested to leave the property in a reasonable condition, consistent with the property's appearance upon arrival.
