Location Information

King's Sutton is an idyllic location for a countryside escape, nestled on the northern edge of the Cotswolds. This large village benefits from two country pubs, The White Horse and The Butchers Arms, a handful of local shops and two attractive churches. King's Sutton has a rich history with evidence of human activity dating as far back as the Iron Age, and has had multiple mentions throughout the ages in works such as the Doomsday Book. Even just taking a gentle stroll through the village is fascinating, with many wonderful pieces of architecture on show including The Court House itself with the striking black and white Tudor era facade.
For your shopping essentials, there is a Co-op in the village and larger supermarkets in nearby Banbury.
King's Sutton is well-placed for visiting the villages of Adderbury, Deddington and Great Tew, and also has a train station with direct services to Oxford and Birmingham. Bicester Village is only a 20 minute drive away, and for keen hikers, there are a vast array of footpaths on your doorstep, including the circular route to Charlton, with its renowned Iron Age Hill Fort.
