The Lodge is a beautifully refurbished Cotswold holiday home which sleeps four guests in two well-appointed bedrooms and with one spacious wet-room. The interior is stylish and minimalist to compliment the open-plan design, which is spacious and welcoming with an open fire for those cosy nights in. The kitchen is a very sociable space with sleek, modern lines, the perfect space for cooking up some culinary delights.There is plenty of outside space and seating to enjoy alfresco dining or a glass of wine by the fire pit. The garden also comes complete with a sauna, outside bath and cold shower.
The Lodge can be booked either on its own, or with The Gatehouse which sleeps two guests. Located in the same estate grounds, the two together offer an ideal setup for two families, or for friends travelling together.
Accommodation
This two bedroom holiday home in Lypiatt Park, Bisley is perfectly suited for those looking to get together with family and friends, exploring the local countryside and eateries. This single storey accommodation is laid out as follows:

Sunny aspect, open fire, Smart TV with apps (account holders only), four-seater sofa, selection of board games and books
Kitchen/dining area
Two access doors to the garden, central island with two bar stools, electric oven, induction hob, fridge, freezer, dishwasher, kettle, toaster, two cafetières and four-seater dining table with chairs
Master bedroom (Sleeps 2)
King size bed, hanging clothes rail and chair
Access to outdoor covered bath, cold shower, sauna and garden
Bedroom 2 with ensuite (Sleeps 2)
Two (75cm) single beds (can be a double on request, not zip locked), hanging clothes rail, chest of drawers (shared with master bedroom), chair, mirror and hairdryer (a curtain can be pulled across to give privacy)
Ensuite with large walk-in shower, loo, basin, chair and heated towel rail (please note the bathroom can only be accessed via bedroom 2)

Booking & Payment
StayCotswold is a marketing agent and therefore does not own any of the cottages listed on our website. In terms of cleaning and maintenance, the properties within our portfolio are managed by a third party property manager or the property owner – your pre-arrival email will contain confirmation and contact details for the person managing your property. Bookings made via us form a legal agreement directly between you and the property owner.
For bookings commencing more than 8 weeks in advance, a 30% non-refundable deposit is required to confirm the booking. The balance payment is then due 8 weeks prior to arrival.
All payments are made subject to the cancellation policy set out in the standard Booking Conditions.
Location Information
The Gatehouse is a great base to explore the South Cotswolds, with the market town of Minchinhampton and the renowned picturesque village of Painswick nearby, as well as the popular Gatcombe Park, home of the Gatcombe horse trials. The larger city and town destinations of Bath and Cheltenham are also accessible, ideal for day trips. Other local attractions include Giffords Circus (certain dates of the year), The Butterfly Sanctuary and The Laurie Lee Walk.

- The maximum occupancy for this property is 4 guests. Infants do not count towards the occupancy figure, however, due to space restrictions the occupancy can only be exceeded by 1 additional infant (aged 2 or under)
- Bed linen and towels are provided (duvets and pillows are feathered)
- Please note that the twin beds are low to the ground and may not be suitable for those with mobility issues
- Off street parking is available for up to 2 cars
- Travel cots and highchairs are not provided, so guests will need to bring these with them
- Please note that there is a curtain that separates bedroom 2 with access to the bathroom door, the master bedroom will also access the bathroom via bedroom 2

- Check in is from 17:00 and check out is by 10:00
- The Lodge has a lovely garden for guests to enjoy and it is important to the owners that guests are courteous and considerate towards the neighbouring properties. We politely request that guests do not disturb the neighbours and that loud music is not played outside after 21:00
- The main Bisley Road runs directly alongside of the property
- Gifford Circus is located in Fennells Farm opposite The Lodge and open to the public on various dates throughout the year
- Charging electric vehicles at this property is not permitted
A security deposit of £150 is required for bookings at this property. We reserve the right to charge an amount up to the value of the security deposit to your payment card up to 7 days after your departure date. In some circumstances, we may require a pre-authorisation of the security deposit amount against your payment card 7 days prior to your arrival date, which will be released 7 days after your departure date, providing no damage is reported or excessive cleaning is required. For the avoidance of doubt, guests are requested to leave the property in a reasonable condition, consistent with the property's appearance upon arrival.
