Twigs is a beautiful country retreat which sleeps two guests near Lechlade, in one bedroom, with a stylish bathroom. This cosy ground floor home away from home has an exposed stone fireplace with a wood burner, a well-equipped kitchen and a stunning garden which is shared with the owners. Tucked away in the picturesque village of Langford, close to the market towns of Burford and Lechlade-on-Thames, Twigs is the perfect base from which to explore the breathtaking scenery and charming towns of the Cotswolds.

This one bedroom holiday cottage in Langford is perfect for a romantic break in the Oxfordshire countryside. This single storey accommodation is laid out as follows:

StayCotswold is a marketing agent and therefore does not own any of the cottages listed on our website. In terms of cleaning and maintenance, the properties within our portfolio are managed by a third party property manager or the property owner – your pre-arrival email will contain confirmation and contact details for the person managing your property. Bookings made via us form a legal agreement directly between you and the property owner.

For bookings commencing more than 8 weeks in advance, a 30% non-refundable deposit is required to confirm the booking. The balance payment is then due 8 weeks prior to arrival.

All payments are made subject to the cancellation policy set out in the standard Booking Conditions.

Location Information

Twigs is situated in the pretty village of Langford, just five miles from the bustling market town of Lechlade-on-Thames. This peaceful village is surrounded by wonderful countryside, and at its heart sits The Bell Inn, a highly acclaimed pub which serves delicious food, complemented by an extensive wine list. The neighbouring village of Filkins has a small shop and is home to The Five Alls, another fantastic country pub.
For your shopping essentials, there are local retailers and supermarkets in both Lechlade-on-Thames and Carterton.
Langford is well-placed for exploring the many scenic towns and villages of the Cotswolds such as Cirencester, Burford, Bibury and Bourton-on-the-Water.

  • The smoke and CO detectors operate on a sound only basis and, therefore, those who have serious impairment of hearing may not be able to hear the alarm systems and could be at risk
  • No smoking or vaping is permitted throughout the property

  • The maximum occupancy for this property is 2 guests. Infants do not count towards the occupancy figure, however, due to space restrictions the occupancy can only be exceeded by 1 additional infant
  • Events are not permitted without prior consent
  • A security deposit is required at this property
  • Check in is from 16:00 and check out is by 10:00
  • Twigs is a self-contained property in the grounds where the owner lives
Security Deposit

A security deposit of £150 is required for bookings at this property. This amount will be pre-authorised on your credit card 7 days prior to your arrival date and, providing no damage is reported, the pre-authorisation will be released 7 days after your departure. For the avoidance of doubt, guests are requested to leave the property in a reasonable condition, consistent with the property's appearance upon arrival.
