In terms of cleaning and maintenance, the properties within our portfolio are managed by a third party property manager or the property owner – your pre-arrival email will contain confirmation and contact details for the person managing your property. Bookings made via us form a legal agreement directly between you and the property owner.

For bookings commencing more than 8 weeks in advance, a 30% non-refundable deposit is required to confirm the booking. The balance payment is then due 8 weeks prior to arrival.

All payments are made subject to the cancellation policy set out in the standard Booking Conditions.

Location Information

Wendle Cottage is a stunning period Cotswold holiday cottage located in the heart of Moreton-in-Marsh, a popular market town in the North Cotswolds. The property is situated on the doorstep of many restaurants, shops and pubs. Head to The Manor House Hotel for a fine dining experience, or to enjoy your favourite sport over a pint, check out The Black Bear Inn.
Choose from Tesco Express or the Co-op for your shopping essentials both a short walk away, or indulge in a visit to The Cotswold Cheese Company.
The proximity of the mainline train station to London Paddington means that a vehicle is not essential.

Things to Note...
  • Older or younger guests may struggle with the steep stairs, though extra care should be taken by all guests. Narrow, steep stairs are very difficult to traverse for a parent holding an infant or young child, therefore we do not recommend guests bring infants or young children to the property
  • The maximum occupancy for this property is 4 guests
  • Events are not permitted without prior consent
  • A security deposit is required at this property
  • Check in is from 16:00 and check out is by 10:00
  • There is a launderette and a dry cleaners less than a 5 minute walk from the property
  • The photos of the master bedroom were taken prior to the two single beds being placed in that room instead of the day bed
Security Deposit

A security deposit of £150 is required for bookings at this property. This amount will be pre-authorised on your credit card 7 days prior to your arrival date and, providing no damage is reported, the pre-authorisation will be released 7 days after your departure. For the avoidance of doubt, guests are requested to leave the property in a reasonable condition, consistent with the property's appearance upon arrival.
