The patio is home to a vintage plough feature, an outdoor table with seating for six, a garden bench and a charcoal barbecue, making this a perfect spot for al fresco dining during the warmer months. A number of footpaths connect with the cottage allowing for some fabulous walks from the doorstep. Stunning Cotswold farmland, wildflower meadows and woodlands are all nearby.

StayCotswold is a marketing agent and therefore does not own any of the cottages listed on our website. In terms of cleaning and maintenance, the properties within our portfolio are managed by a third party property manager or the property owner – your pre-arrival email will contain confirmation and contact details for the person managing your property. Bookings made via us form a legal agreement directly between you and the property owner.

For bookings commencing more than 8 weeks in advance, a 30% non-refundable deposit is required to confirm the booking. The balance payment is then due 8 weeks prior to arrival.

All payments are made subject to the cancellation policy set out in the standard Booking Conditions.

Location Information

Will's Cottage is located on a working farm close to picturesque Horsley, a peaceful village on the south-western edge of the Cotswolds, benefitting from a popular community shop, village hall, children’s playground and sports field, together with a 15th century parish church and popular country pub, The Hog. There are many footpaths and cycle routes on its doorstep to discover. Kingscote and Horsley Woods, along with nearby Woodchester Park, are Sites of Special Scientific Interest and the latter is owned by the National Trust and includes a play trail, walking trails and a Mansion with its own café.
For your shopping essentials, there is a Co-op and Tesco express in Nailsworth.
Horsley is perfectly placed for visiting the much loved towns and villages including Stroud, Cirencester, Painswick, Minchinhampton and Tetbury, and further afield destinations such as Bath, Cheltenham and Oxford are within easy reach for day trips.

Security Deposit

A security deposit of £250 is required for bookings at this property. This amount will be pre-authorised on your credit card 7 days prior to your arrival date, providing no damage is reported the pre-authorisation will be released 5 days after your departure. For the avoidance of doubt, guests are requested to leave the property in a reasonable condition, consistent with the property's appearance upon arrival.
