Cosy Corner is a charming Cotswold stone terraced cottage near Moreton-in-Marsh which sleeps four guests, in two bedrooms, with one bathroom. On the ground floor there is a welcoming sitting room with an abundance of character, and a country style kitchen which looks out towards the garden across the footpath. This picturesque garden has a utility/wash room at the far end, ideal for storing bikes and muddy boots. Cosy Corner dates back to the mid-19th century and boasts traditional features, including a beautiful inglenook fireplace and wood burner, alongside modern amenities such as an air source heat pump which also provides air cooling for the warmer months.

Within the wash room at the end of the garden there is a washing machine, two tumble dryers, iron, ironing board, freezer, four deck chairs, shower cubicle, loo and wash basin

In terms of cleaning and maintenance, the properties within our portfolio are managed by a third party property manager or the property owner – your pre-arrival email will contain confirmation and contact details for the person managing your property. Bookings made via us form a legal agreement directly between you and the property owner.
For bookings commencing more than 8 weeks in advance, a 30% non-refundable deposit is required to confirm the booking. The balance payment is then due 8 weeks prior to arrival.
All payments are made subject to the cancellation policy set out in the standard Booking Conditions.
Location Information
Evenlode is well-placed for visiting the many picturesque towns and villages of the North Cotswolds such as Burford, Chipping Norton, Broadway, Bourton-on-the-Water and The Slaughters.

- The maximum occupancy for this property is 4 guests. Please take consideration whilst booking as the layout, furnishings, and features of Cosy Corner are best suited to adult guests (some features could pose safety risks for infants and very young children)
- Bed linen and towels are provided (duvets, pillows and soft furnishings are hypoallergenic)
- Free on street parking is available in the village or off street parking can be found in the village hall car park, approximately 50 metres from the property
- Each bedroom has a stair gate installed

- Strong WiFi (Download speed 75 Mbps/Upload speed 50 Mbps, though speeds can vary)
- Mobile phone reception is variable, typically being better on the upper floor or outside the property
- 2 TVs, one of which is a Smart TV with DVD/Blu-ray player

- Charcoal BBQ (guests are responsible for providing charcoal and cleaning BBQ after use)
- Air source heat pump offering heating and cooling
- Starter supply of wood, kindling and fire lighters are provided for the wood burning stove from October to March only, and further log supplies can be purchased locally
- This is an old property and has character features, including some low beams, steep stairs and multiple floors, which could pose difficulty to guests with limited mobility, or carrying babies, both in terms of their general movement and their ability to quickly exit the house in the event of an emergency. An accessibility guide is available on request
- The smoke and CO detectors operate on a sound only basis and, therefore, those who have serious impairment of hearing may not be able to hear the alarm systems and could be at risk
- No smoking or vaping is permitted throughout the property
- Please note Cosy Corner is in close proximity to neighbouring properties, it is best suited to peaceful, family-style stays. We kindly ask guests to respect the quiet nature of the area. Please take consideration whilst booking as the property is not appropriate for hen or stag groups, or events of any kind
- Commercial and work related bookings are not permitted
- Events are not permitted without prior consent
- Either a Security Deposit or payment of an Accidental Damage Waiver is required at this property
- Check in is from 15:00 and check out is by 10:00
- Charging electric vehicles at this property is not permitted
Bookings at this property require either a £150 Security Deposit or payment of a non-refundable Accidental Damage Waiver. Where you choose a Security Deposit and we have your payment card details on file (for your security, these details are tokenised), we have the right to charge an amount up to the value of the Security Deposit to your payment card up to seven days after your departure date. In some circumstances, we may require a pre-authorisation of the Security Deposit amount against your payment card seven days prior to your arrival date, which will be released seven days after your departure date, providing no damage is reported or excessive cleaning is required. You may choose to waive the requirement for a Security Deposit by paying for an Accidental Damage Waiver at checkout. This is a non-refundable payment that covers the cost of any accidental damage or breakages to the property or its contents, up to the value of the Security Deposit. For the avoidance of doubt, guests are requested to leave the property in a reasonable condition, consistent with the property's appearance upon arrival.
