Cosy Corner is a charming Cotswold stone terraced cottage which dates back to the mid-19th century. The holiday home can accommodate four guests in two bedrooms and one family bathroom. On the ground floor is a living room full of character and charm, including an inglenook fireplace, wood burning stove and country kitchen with all the modern kitchen essentials. Additionally, the cottage is heated via an air source heat pump, which also provides air cooling, offering you comfort in the summer and winter months. In front of the cottage, across the footpath, is a well established garden, outdoor seating and utility room (the wash room), ideal for the storage of bikes or your muddy boots after a day of exploring the countryside.

StayCotswold is a marketing agent and therefore does not own any of the cottages listed on our website. In terms of cleaning and maintenance, the properties within our portfolio are managed by a third party property manager or the property owner – your pre-arrival email will contain confirmation and contact details for the person managing your property. Bookings made via us form a legal agreement directly between you and the property owner.

For bookings commencing more than 8 weeks in advance, a 30% non-refundable deposit is required to confirm the booking. The balance payment is then due 8 weeks prior to arrival.

All payments are made subject to the cancellation policy set out in the standard Booking Conditions.

Location Information

Cosy Corner is peacefully located in the small village of Evenlode, approximately three miles away from the famous North Cotswold market towns of Stow-on-the-Wold and Moreton-in-Marsh offering a wide range of shops, pubs and restaurants. There are several footpaths from the village, and two national cycle routes pass through the village, making this an ideal spot for outdoor enthusiasts.
For your shopping essentials, there is a Co-op in the market square of Stow-on-the-Wold or a Tesco just on the outskirts of Stow.
The many picturesque towns and villages of the North Cotswolds are also all within easy reach, as are other attractions such as Oxford, Blenheim Palace and Stratford-upon-Avon.

  • Free on street parking is available in the village or off street parking can be found in the village hall car park, approximately 50 metres from the property
  • 1 travel cot (with mattress), 1 highchair and 1 baby bath are available on request (please bring your own linen for the travel cot, as this is not provided)
  • Stair gates have been installed outside each bedroom door

  • Mobile phone reception is variable, typically being better on the upper floor, or outside the property

  • Charcoal BBQ (guests are responsible for providing charcoal and cleaning BBQ after use)
  • Air source heat pump offering heating and cooling around the cottage
  • Starter supply of wood, kindling and fire lighters are provided for the wood burning stove from October-March only and further log supplies can be purchased locally
  • This is an old property and has character features, including some low beams, steep stairs and multiple floors, which could pose difficulty to guests with limited mobility, or carrying babies, both in terms of their general movement and their ability to quickly exit the house in the event of an emergency. An accessibility guide is available on request
  • The smoke and CO detectors operate on a sound only basis and, therefore, those who have serious impairment of hearing may not be able to hear the alarm systems and could be at risk
  • No smoking or vaping is permitted throughout the property

  • The maximum occupancy for this property is 4 guests. Infants do not count towards the occupancy figure, however, due to space restrictions the occupancy can only be exceeded by 1 infant
  • Hen and stag groups are not permitted
  • Commercial and work related bookings are not permitted
  • Events are not permitted without prior consent
  • A security deposit is required at this property
  • Check in is from 15:00 and check out is by 10:00
Security Deposit

A security deposit of £150 is required for bookings at this property. This amount will be pre-authorised on your credit card 7 days prior to your arrival date, providing no damage is reported the pre-authorisation will be released 5 days after your departure. For the avoidance of doubt, guests are requested to leave the property in a reasonable condition, consistent with the property's appearance upon arrival.
