Cotswold Cottage is a beautifully refurbished Cotswold holiday cottage which sleeps 7+1 guests (see Finer Details), in four well-appointed bedrooms, with the +1 option being a single day bed, with three spacious bathrooms. On the ground floor you have a stylish open plan kitchen/dining room, games room and study, along with one of the bedrooms and bathrooms. With various access points to the garden, boasting plenty of outdoor seating and a BBQ, it's a space to enjoy all year round. Indoors there is a cosy sitting room with dual aspect and an open fire. Cotswold Cottage is a dog friendly cottage, suitable for two medium sized dogs.

StayCotswold is a marketing agent and therefore does not own any of the cottages listed on our website. In terms of cleaning and maintenance, the properties within our portfolio are managed by a third party property manager or the property owner – your pre-arrival email will contain confirmation and contact details for the person managing your property. Bookings made via us form a legal agreement directly between you and the property owner.

For bookings commencing more than 8 weeks in advance, a 30% non-refundable deposit is required to confirm the booking. The balance payment is then due 8 weeks prior to arrival.

All payments are made subject to the cancellation policy set out in the standard Booking Conditions.

Location Information

Cotswold Cottage is located near picturesque Woodmancote, an unspoilt hamlet benefitting from beautiful surrounding farmland and countryside. There are walks aplenty including routes to nearby North Cerney, with the popular Bathurst Arms, and Rendcomb and its college via The Macmillian Way. This route goes on to pass close to Rendcomb airfield which was used by the RFC in WW1 and is the home of Wing Walking! The Green Dragon in Cockleford and The Colesbourne Inn are within a ten minute drive of Woodmancote and are both worth a visit. For your shopping essentials, there are supermarkets and smaller retailers in Cirencester.
Woodmancote sits in the heart of the North Cotswolds, ideal for dog friendly weekend breaks, and is perfectly placed for visiting the much-loved towns of Cirencester and Cheltenham, as well as the picture postcard villages of Bibury, Chedworth and Bourton-on-the-Water.

The Finer Details

  • The maximum occupancy for this property is 8 guests, though the number of adults per booking is capped at 7. Infants do not count towards the occupancy figure, however, due to space restrictions the occupancy can only be exceeded by 2 additional infants (aged 2 or under)
  • Bed linen and towels are provided
  • Off street parking is available for up to 4 cars
  • 1 travel cot and 1 highchair are available on request (please bring your own linen for the travel cot, as this is not provided)

  • Cotswold Cottage has a lovely garden for guests to enjoy and it is important to the owners that guests are courteous and considerate towards the neighbouring properties. We politely request that guests do not disturb the neighbours and that loud music is not played outside after 21:00
  • Charging electric vehicles at this property is not permitted
Security Deposit

A security deposit of £350 is required for bookings at this property. This amount will be pre-authorised on your credit card 7 days prior to your arrival date and, providing no damage is reported, the pre-authorisation will be released 7 days after your departure. For the avoidance of doubt, guests are requested to leave the property in a reasonable condition, consistent with the property's appearance upon arrival.
