Outside, the mature split level garden has been beautifully curated in a fitting English country cottage style, with many hidden seating areas, a relaxing pond and breathtaking countryside views. Conveniently located within walking distance of Winchcombe's vibrant high street, delicious eateries and array of amenities, Pyatt's Pad is a wonderful destination to explore the area!

In terms of cleaning and maintenance, the properties within our portfolio are managed by a third party property manager or the property owner – your pre-arrival email will contain confirmation and contact details for the person managing your property. Bookings made via us form a legal agreement directly between you and the property owner.

For bookings commencing more than 8 weeks in advance, a 30% non-refundable deposit is required to confirm the booking. The balance payment is then due 8 weeks prior to arrival.

All payments are made subject to the cancellation policy set out in the standard Booking Conditions.

Pyatt's Pad is located just a short walk from the main high street of the picturesque market town of Winchcombe, a bustling town home to excellent amenities including numerous country inns, restaurants including the Michelin starred, Restaurant 5, cafes and boutique shops.

For your shopping essentials, there is a Mid-Counties Co-op in Winchcombe and a Tesco Superstore in Cheltenham.
Winchcombe is surrounded by breathtaking countryside with numerous footpaths and cycle routes available on the doorstep, it is also well placed for visiting the much loved towns of Stow-on-the-Wold, Chipping Campden and Cheltenham, as well as the picturesque villages of Broadway, Lower Slaughter and Blockley... a truly perfect location to discover what to do in the Cotswolds!

The maximum occupancy for this property is 4 guests. Infants do not count towards the occupancy figure, however, due to space restrictions the occupancy can only be exceeded by 1 additional infant (aged 2 or under)

1 travel cot and 1 highchair are available on request (please bring your own linen for the travel cot, as this is not provided). 1 stair gate is fixed at the top of the stairs

Due to the period nature of Pyatt's Pad, there are steep stairs, low beams and low doorways. Both bedrooms are located in the eaves of the cottage with sloped ceilings and skylight windows
The smoke and CO detectors operate on a sound only basis and, therefore, those who have serious impairment of hearing may not be able to hear the alarm systems and could be at risk
No smoking or vaping is permitted throughout the property

Security Deposit

A security deposit of £150 is required for bookings at this property. This amount will be pre-authorised on your credit card 7 days prior to your arrival date and, providing no damage is reported, the pre-authorisation will be released 7 days after your departure. For the avoidance of doubt, guests are requested to leave the property in a reasonable condition, consistent with the property's appearance upon arrival.

Thank you for a lovely stay at Pyatt's Pad. We felt that so much care, thought and attention had been put into ensuring a really relaxing and enjoyable stay would be had. It's been a much needed get away. The cottage is clean and cleverly arranged (a tiny but very functional kitchen). The garden is beautiful and well maintained with gorgeous views. The bedrooms were really comfortable although you did need to mind the beams - as would be expected in a cottage this date. The sitting room was cosy and in colder months the fire place would be lovely to have on - great atmosphere. We came back after each day out feeling as though we were coming home. Winchcombe itself is a beautiful Cotswold small town with everything you could need. We had such fun nights out at the local pubs with local people (especially the Plaisteters with Irish landlady Liz) and great meals at a wide choice of places to eat - fab Indian restaurant. We were initially worried about on street parking but it really was not a problem. It was always available and our car was safe where we left it outside the cottage. We are really happy to recommend Pyatt's Pad as a place to stay for a memorable holiday. Anna and Micheal.

We came from France and really enjoyed our stay. The place is nice, clean and pleasant to stay (garden with a beautiful view), we liked the location near some beautiful walks in the countryside and the pub. Wifi works very well, and everything is very detailed in the small book prepared by the owner (for the house and the surroundings). tks for this as we don't know all the UK habits. Compared to what we use to know in France or Spain, it lacks some kitchen equipment (plates and oil for example). Beware of the beams ! but of course it is understood that it is part of an old house. However, the mattress is quite old. Customer service from Staycostwold has been perfect.

Pyatts pad is a lovely old cottage. it's maintained very well, extremely clean, and beautifully decorated. the garden in exceptional- flowers, views, bird song = so peaceful. i began every morning in the garden with a cup of tea and quiet. the upstairs beams are low, and it can be hot at night because only one window opens (bedroom fans would help a lot). parking on the street close to the cottage was easy, and although you're on a main road it wasn't noisy at all even with the pub across the street (fantastic food and service by the way). tea/coffee and wash up supplies were provided, but no hand-soap (in these days of conscious cleanliness, hand soap in a toilet is a necessity). overall a wonderful stay. i'd love to return without my children so i could enjoy more time in this lovely home and beautiful village.
