Teasel Cottage is a fabulous Cotswold holiday home in the heart of Winchcombe which sleeps five guests, in three bedrooms, with two bathrooms. A home-from-home, this wonderful 19th century property has a characterful living room, with original exposed beams, cosy seating and a wood burner, which leads through to the light and airy kitchen/diner, a fabulous social area to enjoy a home-cooked meal. The suntrap garden has a lawn and raised patio for al-fresco dining; perfect for making the most of the long summer evenings with family and friends. Teasel Cottage is a dog friendly holiday Cottage, suitable for two medium sized dogs. For EV owners, as Winchcombe has no public charging points, guests are welcome to use the owner's charger at Bourton-on-the-Water, just 14 miles away (see Finer Details).

StayCotswold is a marketing agent and therefore does not own any of the cottages listed on our website. In terms of cleaning and maintenance, the properties within our portfolio are managed by a third party property manager or the property owner – your pre-arrival email will contain confirmation and contact details for the person managing your property. Bookings made via us form a legal agreement directly between you and the property owner.

For bookings commencing more than 8 weeks in advance, a 30% non-refundable deposit is required to confirm the booking. The balance payment is then due 8 weeks prior to arrival.

All payments are made subject to the cancellation policy set out in the standard Booking Conditions.

Location Information

Teasel Cottage is located next door to the quaint Corner Cupboard pub in the heart of the bustling town of Winchcombe. With fabulous amenities on the doorstep, why not pop to William’s deli or one of the many restaurants such as 5 North Street, White Hart Inn or The Lion Inn. The fascinating Sudeley Castle hosts various events throughout the year and is well worth a visit.
For your shopping essentials, there is a Co-op in Winchcombe and larger supermarkets in nearby Cheltenham.
Situated in the North Cotswolds, it is a fabulous location for visiting the local towns such as Broadway, Stow-on-the-Wold and Bourton-on-the-Water. There is even the option to hop on the steam train to Cheltenham! Check out more things to do in the Cotswolds over on our guide.

The Finer Details

  • Bed linen and towels are provided (duvets and pillows are hypoallergenic)
  • Private off street parking is available for up to 1 car, further parking can be found in town
  • 1 travel cot, 1 highchair and 1 stair gate are available on request (please bring your own linen for the travel cot, as this is not provided)

  • The maximum occupancy for this property is 5 guests. Infants do not count towards the occupancy figure, however, due to space restrictions the occupancy can only be exceeded by 1 additional infant
  • Events are not permitted without prior consent
  • A security deposit is required at this property
  • Check in is from 16:00 and check out is by 10:00
  • The owners are able to provide EV charging at their property in Bourton-on-the-Water. Guests are welcome to charge their vehicle and enjoy free parking whilst spending time exploring the village and Greystones Nature Reserve (please contact the owner for further details post booking and secure a time slot for charging the vehicle)
Security Deposit

A security deposit of £250 is required for bookings at this property. This amount will be pre-authorised on your credit card 7 days prior to your arrival date and, providing no damage is reported, the pre-authorisation will be released 7 days after your departure. For the avoidance of doubt, guests are requested to leave the property in a reasonable condition, consistent with the property's appearance upon arrival.
