The Granary at Oriel Farm is a stunning apartment in the Cotswolds which sleeps four guests, in two characterful bedrooms, with a family bathroom. Oak beams are featured throughout the property, giving a nod to the 200 year old history of the beautiful Grade II listed apartment. The morning sun floods in through the skylights, making the spacious open plan living area the perfect place to spend a lazy morning. The whimsical garden is laid to lawn with wildflowers and a bistro dining set, making it the ideal setting for your four-legged friend to explore!

StayCotswold is a marketing agent and therefore does not own any of the cottages listed on our website. In terms of cleaning and maintenance, the properties within our portfolio are managed by a third party property manager or the property owner – your pre-arrival email will contain confirmation and contact details for the person managing your property. Bookings made via us form a legal agreement directly between you and the property owner.

For bookings commencing more than 8 weeks in advance, a 30% non-refundable deposit is required to confirm the booking. The balance payment is then due 8 weeks prior to arrival.

All payments are made subject to the cancellation policy set out in the standard Booking Conditions.

Location Information

The Granary at Oriel Farm is nestled in the village of Shenington, situated on the Oxfordshire/Warwickshire border. This picturesque village has many scenic walks on its doorstep and is home to a delightful country pub, The Bell. There are a number of popular attractions nearby, such as National Trust owned Upton House and Gardens, Broughton Castle and Broughton Grange.
For your shopping essentials, there are a number of supermarkets in Banbury.
Shenington is well-placed for visiting the much-loved towns of Stratford-upon-Avon, Woodstock and Warwick, as well as the stunning Cotswold gems of Stow-on-the-Wold, Chipping Campden and Broadway.

  • Please note there are display hayloft stairs in the garden which are not to be used and children should be supervised in this area
  • The smoke and CO detectors operate on a sound only basis and, therefore, those who have serious impairment of hearing may not be able to hear the alarm systems and could be at risk
  • No smoking or vaping is permitted throughout the property

  • The maximum occupancy for this property is 4 guests. Infants do not count towards the occupancy figure, however, due to space restrictions the occupancy can only be exceeded by 1 additional infant
  • Events are not permitted without prior consent
  • A security deposit is required at this property
  • Check in is from 16:00 and check out is by 11:00
Security Deposit

A security deposit of £150 is required for bookings at this property. This amount will be pre-authorised on your credit card 7 days prior to your arrival date and, providing no damage is reported, the pre-authorisation will be released 7 days after your departure. For the avoidance of doubt, guests are requested to leave the property in a reasonable condition, consistent with the property's appearance upon arrival.
