The Garden House is an imposing, beautifully refurbished Queen Anne period house which sleeps six guests, in three well-appointed bedrooms, with two spacious bathrooms. On the ground floor you have a stylish and contemporary kitchen leading into the grand dining area with an open fire. Both rooms have access out into the stunning extensive gardens, boasting plenty of outside seating, patio area, historic carp pond and fruit orchards, a tranquil haven with unspoilt views to relax in and enjoy all year round. Indoors there is an elegant sitting room with original features to include panelled walls and a beamed ceiling, and there is also an open fire and further access to the gardens. The Garden House is a Grade II listed property and is a picture-perfect Cotswold retreat set in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.

StayCotswold is a marketing agent and therefore does not own any of the cottages listed on our website. In terms of cleaning and maintenance, the properties within our portfolio are managed by a third party property manager or the property owner – your pre-arrival email will contain confirmation and contact details for the person managing your property. Bookings made via us form a legal agreement directly between you and the property owner.

For bookings commencing more than 8 weeks in advance, a 30% non-refundable deposit is required to confirm the booking. The balance payment is then due 8 weeks prior to arrival.

All payments are made subject to the cancellation policy set out in the standard Booking Conditions.

Location Information

The Garden House is located in the picturesque village of Ebrington, with a fabulous pub serving incredible food within walking distance of the house, endless walks with outstanding views and local attractions such as Hidcote Gardens and Kiftsgate Court just a five minute drive away. The neighbouring town of Chipping Campden is a must; with boutique shops, cute tearooms and an array of fine eateries to enjoy.
For your shopping essentials, there is the renowned Vegetable Matters Farm Shop and Cafe in the village, a Co-op, deli and butchers in Chipping Campden and larger supermarkets in Moreton-in-Marsh and Stow-on-the-Wold.
Ebrington sits in the North Cotswolds and is perfectly situated for visiting the quintessential Cotswold destinations of Broadway, Winchcombe and Stow-on-the-Wold, while also being in easy reach of places such as Shipston-on-Stour and Stratford-upon-Avon, where you can enjoy a performance at the RSC Theatre or take a boat trip along the River Avon.

  • The maximum occupancy for this property is 6 guests. Infants do not count towards the occupancy figure, however, due to space restrictions the occupancy can only be exceeded by 2 additional infants (aged 2 or under)

  • No smoking or vaping is permitted throughout the property

  • Hen and Stag parties are not permitted, though other same sex groups can enquire

  • Check in is from 17:00 and check out is by 10:00
  • Charging electric vehicles at this property is not permitted
  • The Garden House has a lovely garden for guests to enjoy and it is important to the owners that guests are courteous and considerate towards any neighbouring properties. We politely request that guests do not disturb the neighbours and that loud music is not played outside
Security Deposit

A security deposit of £500 is required for bookings at this property. This amount will be pre-authorised on your credit card 7 days prior to your arrival date and, providing no damage is reported, the pre-authorisation will be released 7 days after your departure. For the avoidance of doubt, guests are requested to leave the property in a reasonable condition, consistent with the property's appearance upon arrival.
