In terms of cleaning and maintenance, the properties within our portfolio are managed by a third party property manager or the property owner – your pre-arrival email will contain confirmation and contact details for the person managing your property. Bookings made via us form a legal agreement directly between you and the property owner.

For bookings commencing more than 8 weeks in advance, a 30% non-refundable deposit is required to confirm the booking. The balance payment is then due 8 weeks prior to arrival.

All payments are made subject to the cancellation policy set out in the standard Booking Conditions.

Location Information

Tukes Cottage is located in bustling Chipping Norton, a market town with wonderful eateries, a renowned theatre and even a lido! A short drive away and you will find Diddly Squat, Daylesford Organic Farmshop and the Cotswold Distillery, all well worth a visit!

Due to space constraints in the living areas, the maximum occupancy for this property is 4 guests. Infants do not count towards the occupancy figure, however, due to space restrictions the occupancy can only be exceeded by 1 additional infant (aged 2 or under)

Security Deposit/Accidental Damage Waiver

Bookings at this property require either a £150 Security Deposit or payment of a non-refundable Accidental Damage Waiver. Where you choose a Security Deposit and we have your payment card details on file (for your security, these details are tokenised), we have the right to charge an amount up to the value of the Security Deposit to your payment card up to seven days after your departure date. In some circumstances, we may require a pre-authorisation of the Security Deposit amount against your payment card seven days prior to your arrival date, which will be released seven days after your departure date, providing no damage is reported or excessive cleaning is required. You may choose to waive the requirement for a Security Deposit by paying for an Accidental Damage Waiver at checkout. This is a non-refundable payment that covers the cost of any accidental damage or breakages to the property or its contents, up to the value of the Security Deposit. For the avoidance of doubt, guests are requested to leave the property in a reasonable condition, consistent with the property's appearance upon arrival.

Cannot park near the cottage. Furniture well worn. Needs a refurbishment .comfortable beds and lovely bathroom. Steps to garden are very steep couldn't get up them as have arthritis

The property has recently undergone a substantial upgrade, so we were naturally disappointed to learn that the décor and furnishings did not fully suit your personal taste. We appreciate that preferences in style can vary from guest to guest. With regard to the garden stairs, photographs on our website show the tiered garden and steps, and the property description highlights that there are steep steps leading up to the garden area. The cottage was well equipped and spacious enough for our small family. The garden with the bbq was nice and the fireplace as well. The location is very good. Just a short walk from the centre where there are some pubs, supermarket and shops. Parking was no problem for us, i could park a minute walk away from the cottage. Chipping Norton is good place if you want to explore the Cotswolds. But also want to visit Oxford and Blenheim palace as well.

We had a lovely mini winter break away at Tukes Cottage. The communication regarding the cottage was very good & as a result of this, the check-in & out was very efficient. The cottage was in lovely condition, very warm which was good with the cold weather outside, both the kitchen and bathroom were lovely with a fab shower and everything you could possibly need in the kitchen. All 3 beds were very comfortable and the property was located in a quiet location. The only downside was the parking which we knew about in advance, it would make more sense I think to ensure a car could park outside the property as both the properties either side of Tukes Cottage had driveways outside. Overall yes I recommend the property as it was in lovely condition, very comfortable, in a fab location & decent value for money.
