Celebrating Our Q4 Media Highlights

We’ve been featured in some of the UK’s top national publications, showcasing the allure of our holiday properties and the stunning landscapes that surround them – which are even more beautiful with a dusting of frost and snow on the trees, fields and cosy cottage roofs.

The Times: Royal Connections and Historic Charm

One of the standout moments was when The Times highlighted Sudeley Castle and the picturesque village of Winchcombe in their Saturday travel section. With a readership of over 13 million, this inclusion painted an irresistible picture of a scenic getaway for Tudor history buffs (nearby St Mary’s Church is the resting place of King Henry VIII’s last wife, Queen Katherine Parr) and we were delighted to see Pyatt’s Pad included as a superb place to stay and the perfect base for exploring the history of the location.

The Independent: Festive Romance and Holiday Appeal

With Christmas just around the corner at time of publication, The Independent captured the essence of festive retreats with a fab piece on cosy Christmas holiday cottages. They drew inspiration from the romantic holiday movie, ‘The Holiday,’ starring Jude Law, Cameron Diaz, and Kate Winslet. We were thrilled to see Woodman Cottage featured, located in the stunning grounds of Cornwell Manor, where some scenes from the film were shot. This beautiful property in an exclusive location invites guests to experience a holiday filled with warmth, style and charm, just like in this popular movie.

The Guardian: A Christmassy Wonderland

Next up was a major spotlight in The Guardian’s ‘Christmas Unwrapped’ supplement, where Archway Cottage was recognised for its character and traditional appeal. The journalist’s quest for the most Christmassy places to stay in the UK led them to include our enchanting cottage, a perfect retreat for those seeking the cosy log fire, timber beamed cottage experience that embodies the spirit of the season.

Daily Mirror, Irish Mirror, and Daily Star: The Ultimate Last-Minute Choice

The Daily Mirror, Irish Mirror, and Daily Star all agreed that The Coach House in South Cerney is an unbeatable staycation choice. Close to Cirencester, this idyllic village is an ideal spot to unwind and explore the Cotswolds.  Steeped in history, it was founded in 999 by Saxon settlers. We were pleased to see this charming property receive recognition, affirming the location as a must-visit for those looking to escape the hustle and bustle.

Looking Ahead: A Promising First Quarter

We can’t help but feel excited about what the first quarter of 2025 holds. With Valentine’s Day, the arrival of spring, and Easter breaks for family fun just around the corner, we anticipate even more wonderful mentions in the press.

Thank you for being a part of our journey, and here’s to more standout media moments in 2025!
