Location Information

Nepenthe is situated in the heart of Stow-on-the-Wold, a vibrant town full of all the amenities you could possibly need for a splendid stay. We would recommend booking a table at The Old Butchers, having Sunday lunch at The Porch House, or enjoying a buzzy ambience in The Sheep. With amazing boutique shops, coffee houses and numerous antique shops, this communal town is a thriving, lively place to visit and soak up Cotswold life - check out our favourite dog walks in the Cotswolds for some more inspiration!
For your shopping essentials, there is a mini Co-op in The Square or a Tesco Superstore located on the Fosse Way, less than one mile away.
Commonly known as Stow, it is in the North Cotswolds and a fabulous location for visiting the wonderful towns of Burford, Bourton-on-the-Water, Chipping Campden and Broadway, with all their hidden treasures. It is also a great place to stay for days out at places such as Blenheim Palace, the historical Stratford-upon-Avon and Cheltenham.

Stow is very busy for a day or two before and after each fair, and a number of shops, pubs and restaurants are closed. Whilst many visitors enjoy the colour and vibrancy associated with the fairs, other visitors prefer to avoid Stow on these dates
