Set over three floors, this tranquil, organic home has natural, rustic interiors that highlight the local surroundings while staying true to the property’s historic roots. A stunning house for all seasons, take true advantage of the cottage's cosy qualities and snuggle up in the immaculately presented living room with a wood burner to keep you warm in the colder months. The bedrooms are a true allurement, embodying serenity, and with opulent bathrooms, you and your guests are destined to find the ultimate comfort. Spend summer evenings enjoying an al-fresco dining experience with the use of the well-equipped kitchen for your culinary delights. The pinnacle point of the property is the handmade Tubmarine wood-fired hot tub, created using sustainable wood and requiring no harsh chemicals; it is the fundamental cure for a long day exploring the Cotswolds. If that is not enough, Brook Cottage is dog-friendly!

Booking & Payment
StayCotswold is a marketing agent and therefore does not own any of the cottages listed on our website. In terms of cleaning and maintenance, the properties within our portfolio are managed by a third party property manager or the property owner – your pre-arrival email will contain confirmation and contact details for the person managing your property. Bookings made via us form a legal agreement directly between you and the property owner.
For bookings commencing more than 8 weeks in advance, a 30% non-refundable deposit is required to confirm the booking. The balance payment is then due 8 weeks prior to arrival.
All payments are made subject to the cancellation policy set out in the standard Booking Conditions.
Location Information
Brook Cottage is located in the delightful village of Little Barrington, which is unspoilt and picturesque, with honey-stoned Cotswold cottages around every corner. If you enjoy walking, this is the most idyllic setting. Stroll to The Fox for a delicious meal or spend an afternoon walking to Windrush and catch glimpses of the stunning river. The local town of Burford, known as "The Gateway to the Cotswolds," is home to beautiful boutique shops, tearooms, and the Burford Garden Company, and is only a short drive from the popular Cotswold Wildlife Park.
Little Barrington sits in the North Cotswolds and is an ideal location for days out to places such as Blenheim Palace, Daylesford Organic, Oxford, and Stratford-upon-Avon. Surrounded by rolling hills, you will find the wonderful local towns of Broadway, Chipping Campden, Stow-on-the-Wold, and Bourton-on-the-Water.

- Please note due to the age of the property there are low beams and sloped ceilings.
- Please note the garden is tiered and there are steep steps to the second level
- The smoke and CO detectors operate on a sound only basis and, therefore, those who have serious impairment of hearing may not be able to hear the alarm systems and could be at risk
- No smoking or vaping is permitted throughout the property
- The maximum occupancy for this property is 6 guests. Infants do not count towards the occupancy figure, however, due to space restrictions the occupancy can only be exceeded by 1 additional infant
- Hen, Stag and other same sex groups are not permitted
- Events are not permitted without prior consent
- A security deposit is required at this property
- Check in is from 16:00 and check out is by 10:00
A security deposit of £350 is required for bookings at this property. This amount will be pre-authorised on your credit card 7 days prior to your arrival date, providing no damage is reported the pre-authorisation will be released 5 days after your departure. For the avoidance of doubt, guests are requested to leave the property in a reasonable condition, consistent with the property's appearance upon arrival.
