StayCotswold is a marketing agent and therefore does not own any of the cottages listed on our website. In terms of cleaning and maintenance, the properties within our portfolio are managed by a third party property manager or the property owner – your pre-arrival email will contain confirmation and contact details for the person managing your property. Bookings made via us form a legal agreement directly between you and the property owner.

For bookings commencing more than 8 weeks in advance, a 30% non-refundable deposit is required to confirm the booking. The balance payment is then due 8 weeks prior to arrival.

All payments are made subject to the cancellation policy set out in the standard Booking Conditions.

Location Information

Cub Cottage is situated in a line of cottages in the heart of Winchcombe, a fantastic town with wonderful classic Cotswold architecture, boutique shops and wonderful walks. You will be spoilt for choice with plenty of eateries such as The Lion Inn for a fantastic dinner and Williams of Winchcombe, a fabulous deli showcasing local produce. The most outstanding part of Winchcombe is, of course, Sudeley Castle, within walking distance of Cub Cottage. Be sure to visit the amazing gardens, take a tour of the house and finish it all off with a slice of cake at The Pavillion.
For your shopping essentials, there is a Co-op in Winchcombe, with larger supermarkets in nearby Cheltenham.
Situated in the North Cotswolds, lying between the superb village of Broadway and bustling town of Cheltenham, Winchcombe is the perfect location from which to visit the much-loved Cotswold honeypots of Bourton-on-the-Water, Stow-on-the-Wold and Snowshill.

  • The maximum occupancy for this property is 4 guests. Infants do not count towards the occupancy figure, however, due to space restrictions the occupancy can only be exceeded by 1 additional infant (aged 2 or under)

  • Travel cots and highchairs are not provided, so guests will need to bring these with them

Security Deposit

A security deposit of £150 is required for bookings at this property. This amount will be pre-authorised on your credit card 7 days prior to your arrival date and, providing no damage is reported, the pre-authorisation will be released 7 days after your departure. For the avoidance of doubt, guests are requested to leave the property in a reasonable condition, consistent with the property's appearance upon arrival.
